We at Cameron Davis Jiu-Jitsu are a family-owned and -operated school. At the top of our leadership is Cameron, running the school along with his wife Alora. We balance each other out to provide different perspectives to the mats. Our family contribution continues to our daughter who also helps out in kids Jiu-Jitsu classes. We are truly, fully committed to making our Gulfport, MS Jiu-Jitsu gym the best place for families as well as newcomers and competitors. Cameron Davis
Head Instructor
1st-degree Black Belt
Cameron Davis, or Professor Cam/Coach Cam to the CDJJ minis and kids team, is a 1st-degree black belt in Jiu-Jitsu. He trains under Professor Danny Dring (LDMA) and J.R. Hensley (TRMA) and is the owner and Head Instructor at Cameron Davis Jiu-Jitsu (CDJJ).
His journey in martial arts began at the young age of 13, sparking a 20-year long passion for training and competition. During this time, he’s garnered gold medals in Taekwondo and MMA cage fighting. But for Cameron, martial arts are more than just accolades. He believes Jiu-Jitsu’s true power lies in its ability to empower individuals and foster a supportive community.
This passion for helping others is what drives Cameron to lead CDJJ. He shares his extensive knowledge and experience with his students, helping them not only develop their Jiu-Jitsu skills but also gain confidence, discipline, and resilience.
Alora Davis
Instructor
Standing a half inch over 4’11”, Alora is keeping CDJJ on track and moving forward in our approach to become the Gulf Coast #1 JIU-JITSU academy. As a former US Navy Corpsman, and current critical care RN, her experiences drive her passion for Women’s self defense and that of those in the healthcare field that is backed by her training in both Taekwondo and BJJ.
